The Lovick Engineering Difference
Every Lovick service exchange engine is rebuilt to exacting standards with a strong focus on reliability, performance and longevity. All iron and hardware components are thoroughly tested, inspected and surveyed against OEM specifications and reusability guidelines before assembly, with genuine OEM parts used throughout the rebuild process. Precision machining and component reclamation are carried out to OEM specifications and tolerances, while corrosion and wear-resistant materials and repair processes are incorporated wherever applicable to maximise service life while remaining fully compliant with OEM repair guidelines.
Each engine’s rotating assembly, including the crankshaft, flywheel, connecting rods and piston assemblies, is precision balanced to reduce vibration and improve long-term reliability, and turbochargers are also precision balanced to optimise performance and extend service life. Before leaving the facility, every engine undergoes a comprehensive five-hour dynamometer (dyno) test, including multiple Millipore microscopic oil cleanliness tests throughout to verify internal cleanliness and build quality. Each unit is then finished with a durable two-pack paint system, including undercoat, to provide superior corrosion protection and a professional finish.
